  • Can I insert an image, video, or gif in my FAQ?
    Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Enter the app’s Settings 2. Click on the “Manage FAQs” button 3. Select the question you would like to add media to 4. When editing your answer click on the camera, video, or GIF icon 5. Add media from your library.
  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Click “Manage FAQs” button 2. From your site’s dashboard you can add, edit and manage all your questions and answers 3. Each question and answer should be added to a category 4. Save and publish.
  • How do I edit or remove the “FAQ” title?
    You can edit the title from the Settings tab in the app. If you don’t want to display the title, simply disable the Title under “Info to Display”.
  • Do you provide rentals?
    We have wooden tables and chairs that are included in both the rehearsal package and wedding package.
  • What is an FAQ section?
    An FAQ section can be used to quickly answer common questions about you or your business, such as “Where do you ship to?”, “What are your opening hours?” or “How can I book a service?” It’s a great way to help people navigate your site and can even boost your site’s SEO.
  • What else do we need to organize for our wedding?
    The log house's septic can only handle up to 10 guests (strict maximum) so you need to organize Porta Potties – 1 per 35 guest typically. Caterers, Bar + liquor license ( Minimum 1 bar staff with Serving it Right certification) We can provide a small bar table set up), your decor, Various Permits and Insurance
  • What is the maximum capacity at the property for a wedding?
    50 guests (including the 12 in the lodge)
  • Can we bring our own alcohol and caterer?
    Yes and Yes. You can provide your own alcohol, liquor license and a Special Event Permit from the BC Liquor Control Board for the day of the event.
  • Are we able to set up ahead of time?
    If the previous date is not booked you may begin our set up the day before your event. Please enquire with us.
  • What time do we need to depart?
    For weddings - Professional Amplified music and alcohol service must end at 10:00 pm and all guests need to be off site by 10:30pm.
  • Can we visit the property ahead of time?

  • Do you offer rentals?
    We have wooden tables and chairs included in our rehearsal and wedding packages.
  • How much parking do you have?
    We have enough parking for 10 vehicles. Please ensure you organize a shuttle service or your guests if you will be over that.
  • Are fireworks, candles, or sparklers allowed on the property?
    Due to hot summer months, sparklers and fireworks are always banned. Candles will be allowed at the discretion of Ancient Cedars Lodge. Absolutely no smoking is allowed on the property during a fire ban. Smoking is not allowed in the lodge or any of the porches or decks surrounding the lodge and throughout the property.
  • Are we required to purchase "day of special event" liability insurance?
    Yes you are. An insurance policy of $2million (fire, theft, damage) is required by Ancient Cedars Lodge. This policy must also include liability coverage for all people on site on the day of the event. Please inquire with your insurance company. The insurance must be provided at least 14 days prior to the event.
